Step Brothers

"They grow up so fast."

Brennan Huff and Dale Doback might be grown men. But that doesn't stop them from living at home and turning into jealous, competitive stepbrothers when their single parents marry in this Judd Apatow-produced comedy. Brennan's constant competition with Dale strains his mom's marriage to Dale's dad, leaving everyone to wonder whether they'll ever see eye to eye.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

→ View All
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): SPOILER: Brennan rubs his testicles on the drum set. When Dale knocks him to the floor, Brennan's testicles are still out. When he is fighting Brennan, his pants are zipped up.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): Brennan's brother beats him in the talent competition with "Ice Ice baby" which was released in 1990, that leaves an 18 year gap between the film's release date in 2008 and the song's release. Brennan is 38 years old in this film, so in order for that to make sense he would have had to be at his secondary school talent show preforming when he was 20 and his brother 18.
  • Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): When the two brothers are on the boat, we can clearly see the reflection of the camera in the polished metal arm under the wheel of the boat.
  • In Dale's bedroom there is a sign for Hugalo's Pizza, the same pizza place that Will Ferrell worked for in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
