  • In Italy, for the theatrical release, the film was renamed simply "Missione 3D: Game Over" ("3D Mission: Game Over"), without any references in the trailers, or anywhere else, of it being a part of the "Spy Kids" trilogy.
  • George Clooney's scenes were shot in one afternoon in his own living room, in a suit jacket, shirt, tie and pajama pants.
  • When Juni walks into OSS, shortly after discovering what happens in "Game Over", you see Rocket Rodriguez, Robert's oldest son.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): After Junie wins the Mega Race he stands up on his "hubcap", BUT in the next shot, you see Junie flip the hubcap up like a skateboard. Junie never moved, but all of a sudden he's off the hubcap.
