Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Real scientists, especially geneticists, would never use the word "evolve" to describe the development of an individual organism, as is done repeatedly in this film. Species evolve; individuals do not.
The poster above Clive and Elsa's bed at home says "They're coming!" in Japanese.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Clive and Elsa return to work for the first time after the farm scene, they enter the lab with Elsa on the right and Clive on the left (viewer perspective). William Barlow appears and hands them both a lab coat. Suddenly, Clive and Elsa have switched positions and in the next scene, Mr. Barlow, who was facing the entrance, now has his back to it and Clive and Elsa have switched positions again.
