Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the zombies grab Starla from Bill's wrecked car, Bill calls "Carla, Carla!", instead of Starla.
Jenna and Emily Strutemyer were named after Jenna Fischer, director James Gunn (II)'s wife, and her sister.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Kylie leaps out of the bath, her earphones disappear.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Bill and Kylie flee her house and get into the police car, a zombie vomits acid on Bill's driver side window. In subsequent shots the window is clean.
