Movie Trivia/Goofs

→ View All
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When James and Jamie are talking about Ceth and about their relationship, the dancer in the back goes from topless in one shot, to with a top in the next.
  • When we are first introduced to the Shortbus club, a Shortbus guest takes some food off a platter of nibbles. The guest is Jonathan Caouette, director of Tarnation. Shortbus director John Cameron Mitchell worked as Executive Producer on Tarnation.
  • Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was going to fire Sook-Yin Lee when they learned that she was going to be participating in a film with explicit sexual content. Several prominent individuals came to her rescue, including Gus Van Sant, Atom Egoyan, David Cronenberg and Julianne Moore, in successfully urging CBC to retain Lee as a member of their staff.
  • The character James in the movie is based on Jonathan Caouette, the director of, and whose life is the inspiration for, the movie Tarnation.
