Movie (1997)

Dylan (Dan Futterman) and Jez (Stuart Townsend) are two orphans who meet in their twenties and vow to achieve their shared childhood dream of living in a stately home. In pursuit of this dream they spend their days living in a disused gasometer, spending as little money as possible and conning the upper classes out of their riches.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): For the prize coupon for Zappy Nappies, Dylan and Jez have to describe in no more than eight words why they buy Zappy Nappies. However, Jez's solution - "Weighs less than a bun, holds more than a ton" - which they decide to send in is ten words.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Georgie stands up at the roof-top pond, she casts a shadow on the background sunrise.
Movie Goof (factual errors): The tiny amount of helium that they use wouldn't lighten the jockey by any more than a few ounces at most - it's about the same amount used to fill three helium balloons, which can be held down with a very small bag of sand.
Movie Goof (boom mic visible): Where Jez has shown Georgie the money cases, you can clearly see the mic as Georgi heads up the stairs and says goodbye.
