Told from the perspective of businessman Oskar Schindler who saved over a thousand Jewish lives from the Nazis while they worked as slaves in his armor factory. Schindler’s List is based on a true story, illustrated in black and white and filmed on many original locations which brought much discussion and controversy.

Movie Goof (anachronisms): In the 1940s, almost all European women did not shave any of their armpits, legs, or pubic areas, especially work or death camp women who were not allowed even the basics. All but one of the women in the film are trimmed and groomed.
This film's closing epilogue states: "There are fewer than four thousand Jews left alive in Poland today. There are more than six thousand descendants of the Schindler Jews." This film's closing memorial / dedication states: "In memory of the more than six million Jews murdered."
When Survivor Mila Pfefferberg was introduced to Ralph Fiennes on the set, she began shaking uncontrollably, as he reminded her too much of the real Amon Goeth.
Movie Goof (anachronisms): The bottle of Hennessy cognac as seen in the movie is the new shape released in 1990s. The original bottle shape was taller and had different label.
