  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In one shot, a SWAT officer can be seen holding a Colt Model 933 carbine fitted with an EOTech red dot sight, the sight being mounted backwards on the weapon.
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): The helicopter in the movie bringing the "Soviet master spy" to the abandoned monastery now serving as a training camp for the KA-spies has a Russian aircraft registration (RA-... or RF-... for govt-aircraft). In those days, the helicopter would have had a Soviet registration (CCCP-...).
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Salt is locked in the CIA building she takes a chair and throws it on the floor, in the next scene the chair is gone (at the security camera's and the normal camera).
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Salt is taken into custody after the White House sequence, her hands are cuffed behind her, as evidenced in the way she deals with Ted Winter. Seemingly a few moments later, as she is being loaded onto the helicopter, her hands are now cuffed in front.
