Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Lenny tells his henchmen the painting's been stolen, Bandy asks "where was it then?", his shirt collar is unbuttoned, sticking out of his jacket. Though when the camera cuts back to him, he is wearing a tie and his collar is buttoned. Then when it cuts back to him, his collar is unbuttoned and sticking out again.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): The two "Chechnyans" would more likely be veterans of the Russian Army who've served in Chechnya. This is because actual Chechens would speak the Chechen language rather than Russian.
  • Movie Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): On the golf course, Uri advises Lenny that, because they are on the ninth hole, it will take him until sunrise to get back to his car. The ninth and eighteenth greens are often closest to the clubhouse, however many traditional British links style courses have ninth holes that are the furthest point from the clubhouse. This is the basis of the expression, "at the turn" in golf. After the ninth hole, the golfers will turn around and the remaining holes will lead them back to clubhouse. This is also why scorecards say "out" referring to the score on the front nine and "in" for the back nine.
  • Actor Matt King, who plays Cookie in this film, actually played director Guy Ritchie in spoof Channel 4 show Star Stories (UK), in the episode 'Madonna: The Wife's Life'.
