Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the final scene when Ralph is shooting the free throws after the foul, he steps over the line both times before the ball hits the rim, which means it would be a violation and the free throws wouldn't count.
Movie Goof (factual errors): The referee in the finals is wearing the wrong uniform. Basketball referees' shirts do not have collars. Collars are worn by football officials, but basketball officials wear plain v-necks.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In an issue of the school newspaper the headline reads "Smelters Win Again! Move into 6th Place" but if you actually read the article it talks about them having another loss.
Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): In various parts of the movie you can see a microphone hanging down from above, such as the part where Keith's mother is talking to him about his father.
