Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Raj shows Taani "I LOVE U" written all over the Amritsar town to express his love for her. The next shot shows a close-up of Taani and one can see the reflection of "I LOVE U" in her eyes, but the it's not a mirror image as it should be.
Shahrukh Khan has two completely different looks in the film, which were inspired by two contestants on "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" (2008), the game show that he hosts.
The phrase "Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte," repeated many times in the movie, is actually a combination of three Bollywood movies that starred the three big Khans: Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) with Aamir Khan, Phir Milenge (2004) with Salman Khan, and Chalte Chalte with Shahrukh Khan, who was the lead in this movie.
The film doesn't feature any songs performed by Yash Raj Films favorite Lata Mangeshkar. The female singers of this movie are Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal.
