• Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When the bio-suited CDC doctors enter the building, you hear the sounds of a self-contained breathing apparatus. However, the doctors are wearing standard gas masks with NBC filters, which are almost silent and don't use an external air supply.
• Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Near the end, when Angela and Scott get into the room with lab equipment and newspaper articles on the walls, one article with the headline "Doomsday Cult Suspected in Weapons Lab Break In" is a real article. The real headline is "Dead by 34: How AIDS and Starvation Condemn Zimbabwe's Women to An Early Grave" by Daniel Howden, written Nov 17, 2006.
• Movie Goof (plot holes): SPOILER: Most of the people bitten in the building quickly succumb to rabies. Briana, whose dog infected her at least a day earlier, makes it through most of the movie before succumbing.
