• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Droz is first in the bedroom with Tom, his shirt is untucked. When he walks out of the room with his arm around Tom, his shirt is tucked in.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Droz inserts the CD into the machine it has a blue display. However, in the long shot the CD player has an orange display.
• PCU was made by a graduate of Wesleyan University, and is based on the school. In the opening sequence, there is a shot of the main library (Olin) and one of the residence halls (Clark) of the school, in Middletown, CT.
• PCU was filmed in the city of Toronto, and in one scene, the building referred to as "the freshman dorms" is actually the Ontario Provincial Legislature.
