Movie Goof (anachronisms): When the Club Kids are walking through New York at Night you can see the distinctive "green x" logo of Microsoft's X-Box games console in an advertisement. The film is set in the 1980's and the X-Box did not appear till the 2000's.
The Club Kids' appearance on a talk show is based on a The Geraldo Rivera Show guest spot from the early 1990s. They also appeared on The Joan Rivers Show and "The Jane Whitney Show" (1992) around the same time.
Daniel Franzese has a small speaking role in the film but he also appears in the end in a rat costume describing the murder to Seth Green.
Marilyn Manson showed up for filming with his own prosthetic boobs, butt and blonde wig.
