  • Movie Goof (factual errors): Boat-burning takes place only after eights, not after ad hoc coxless pairs grudge matches against Harvard.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): The width of the street that the car gets stuck in.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Professor Boggs quotes Casablanca to Nick, saying, "In the words of the inimitable Claude Rains... 'I believe this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.'" In actuality, that was Humphrey Bogart's line, not Rains'.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): Admissions and students' course schedules are not computerized.
