- In January, 2009 one of the film's crew members invited John Abraham (IV), Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan and other crew members to his birthday party at a local nightclub in New York. While the crew members, who arrived in one car, were allowed into the nightclub, the actors, who had arrived in another car, were denied access by security who did not recognize them and who demanded identification. Neither they nor some crew members (who came from inside to help out) were able to convince security that they were important stars in India. By the time Abraham, Kaif, Khan, and Mukesh had returned with identification, the party had ended.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): When Sam is playing chess at the University with the Asian guy, the board is shown from the top; there is one chess cube free between the two kings. In the next scene the kings are shown next to each other. That is not possible because both of them would be in check. Plus, Sam is making checkmate by taking the white king with the black king. That is against the rules of chess.
- Movie Goof (errors in geography): The "Brooklyn Market" Samir goes to get the brown bread is the Italian Market in Philadelphia, likely somewhere along Passyunk Avenue. A sign for the Pennsylvania Lottery can be see on a storefront in the background.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): Neil Mukesh gets admission into New York State University. There is no university with that name - the state university in New York is called as State University of New York (SUNY)
