Movie (2009)

A Greek tour guide named Georgia attempts to recapture her kefi (Greek for mojo) by guiding a ragtag group of tourists around Greece and showing them the beauty of her native land. Along the way, she manages to open their eyes to the wonders of an exotic foreign land while beginning to see the world through a new set of eyes in the process.

The song Georgia sings on the beach is "Never on Sunday", the only Greek Oscar winning song, from Pote tin Kyriaki (1960).
Irv's dead wife Elinor is played by Rita Wilson, who is also one of the executive producers, along with her husband Tom Hanks.
The creepy Hotel Clerk (Ian Gomez) is the real life husband of 'Nia Vardalos'.
Movie Goof (continuity error): The three women who can't speak English sit in the back of the bus, one behind Irv, and the two others in the seat behind her. But in one shot, when Georgia is about to show what the Oracle in Delphi was like etc., the seat where the two women were sitting is empty, later, they are there again.
