• Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): L.B states that Brenda is a product of his father's old ways, long before he married the mother of Leroy, Vera and himself. However, this would make Brenda older than the three of them, and it is clearly obvious (and also stated) that Brenda is the youngest of them all.
• Movie Goof (revealing mistake): While Michael is making the oatmeal, you hear the sound of the oatmeal hit the bottom of the pot. Before they start dancing, he never turns on the stove or puts water in the pot. After the dance, he proceeds to stir the oatmeal in the pot.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Brenda is eating the sandwich at Mildred's she takes the first bite from the center. When she takes a second bite the first has moved to the corner.
• Movie Goof (revealing mistake): During the scene of the end of the police chase, Madea (Tyler Perry), is placed in the back of a cruiser. At the end of the scene, you clearly see Tyler Perry laughing and the cruiser stop during the cut.
