- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Tanzie is looking through the files in KLAE, Gene is looking at her when she drops the file. In the next shot, Gene isn't looking at her, but then turns to discover she has dropped the file and yells "Hurry!"
- Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Tanzie and Ava are going to visit Margo, Hilary Duff (as Tanzie) accidentally uses Haylie's name instead of her character's name, Ava.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Tanzie and Ava are sitting in Inez's living room talking about unemployment, new shoes, and money, Tanzie's legs change in each shot. It changes from having her left leg bent to her right leg bent, then straight again.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When the girls walk into one of the meetings, (the one where they are in their pajamas/formal dress) Jaden has her hair like Tanzie did the previous day. The camera is looking at Jaden from the behind, and you see her reach up to change her hair. The camera angle then switches back to Jaden's front, and her hand is back on the water jug. She reaches up again, and takes out the clip in her hair.
