  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Marcia is giving her ideas to Larry, Carol and Ted regarding the murder, at one point she excuses herself to go to the restroom. As she leaves, in the long shot, Carol puts her hands behind her head and interlocks her fingers to rest her head against them. In the next closeup shot, her hands are down.
  • Zach Braff's film debut.
  • When Larry and Carol go to the theater, the play they are seeing is "Guys and Dolls".
  • In the scene when Diane Keaton's character sees her "dead" neighbor riding a bus, you can read VERTIGO as bus advertisement. It's one of the many references to Hitchcock's film that appear in the movie.
