Movie (2008)

A coming of age dramedy where infidelity, real estate, and Lyme disease have two families falling apart on Long Island in the early eighties. Scott, 15, is at the point in his life when he finds out that the most important people around him, his father, his mother, and his brother, are not exactly who he thought they were. They are flawed and they are human.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

During a Q&A at Sundance Film Festival, Director Derick Martini reported working with a budget of $1.5 million.
Movie Goof (continuity error): During the scene where Scott is getting ready for his ceremony, his collar is up. When Brenda goes over to him, she flattens only one side of his collar, however in the next scene, Scott's collar changes.
Movie Goof (anachronisms): When Scott and Adriana are in the confessional booth drinking, Adriana takes her first sip of the wine from the bottle, and passes it through to Scott neck first, but when Scott receives it, he's receiving it bottom end first.
Emile Hirsch and Ryan Gosling were also attached to the film in its early stages.
