• Movie Goof (continuity error): The blanket on Aurelia's left shoulder keeps changing position from on and off her shoulder when they are in the house after being into the water.
• For German movie posters and VHS/DVD/Blu-ray covers, the image of Martine McCutcheon was replaced with one of Heike Makatsch.
• Olivia Olson (Joanna - Sam's crush), does all her own singing in "All I Want for Christmas is You" at the Christmas concert. She had such an amazing voice that the director had it edited so it sounded more like a child singing.
• Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): In the airport scene where Sam is being chased by airport security, at the checkpoint, in some cuts a spring board can be seen for his leap over the guard, but in some cuts it's not there.
