Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In several of the "Cruising" scenes, the Thermador Cooler on Che's vintage car disappear and reappear several times throughout the scenes. When they show close-ups of the passenger side window, the Thermador Cooler (the tube device on top of the passenger side door) is gone, while in most of the long shots, it is back. In one close-up you can actually see the wear marks of where the cooler sits on top of the door frame where they took it off for the close up.
  • Movie Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): The memorial in Che's garage indicates his wife died in 1985. The stencil Che plans to put on the car says "Class of 2009"; some think this means Jess is graduating from high school in 2009, which wouldn't work unless he was in his mid-20s already. However, if Che is looking ahead to his *college* graduation instead, it works.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): In the opening scene, Che is shown putting the poles of a trolleybus onto electric wires above. When the bus pulls up to the bus stop, Che is driving one of Muni's Hybrid/electric buses, which runs on its own power and does not have trolley poles.
