a movie within a movie, created to spoof the martial arts genre. Writer/director Steve Oedekerk uses contemporary characters and splices them into a 1970s kung-fu film, weaving the new and old together. As the main character, The Chosen One, Oedekerk sets off to avenge the deaths of his parents at the hands of kung-fu legend Master Pain. Along the way, he encounters some strange characters

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Chosen hallucinates about Whoa and Mu-Shu-Fasa, we see that Whoa inexplicably has two normally-placed small breasts rather than one giant one.
  • When the camera is positioned above the waterfall, you can see the Titanic in the water below.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Chosen sees all his friends wounded in the field, he has a tattoo saying "mouth" with an arrow on his left cheek (there was a deleted torture scene where an old man gives him a tattoo). The tattoo can't be seen after this scene.
  • To create the effect of bad dubbing, writer Steve Oedekerk wrote a script of nonsensical dialogue for the actors to say. The real dialogue was dubbed during post-production.
