Movie Trivia/Goofs

Miko Hughes' character name, Joseph Cousins, is the real name of one of the boys who plays young Dominic (he was played by twins Joseph Cousins and Christian Cousins).
Movie Goof (continuity error): During the scene where Kimble introduces Phoebe, where she will talk about strangers, as he is talking the camera changes to the children. However in this shot you can see Kimble sitting on the piano bench, then it changes camera again to show him standing in front of them talking.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When the firemen start escorting the students across the road after the fire, the fire chief's Caprice has its trunk open. In the next shot, when Phoebe runs to the entrance, the trunk is closed.
Danny DeVito was also considered for the role of John Kimble, but was not given the part due to his height.
