• Movie Goof (continuity error): In the hospital room, the folds in the pillowcase change.
• Embeth Davidtz was chosen as a replacement at the 11th hour and arrived on set the day before principal photography began.
• Movie Goof (errors in geography): In the scene at the end with Madeleine and George driving back home to Chicago, the highway sign reads "King 6 Winston-Salem 19 and Lexington 40" which would indicate that they are headed South (the sign is actually on Southbound U.S. highway 52) which would be the opposite direction to get get back home to Chicago.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Madeline is trying to convince David Wark to sign with her company, he takes his painting off her to get closer and to talk to her, the scene cuts to a shot over her shoulder where she is seen to still be holding the painting.
