Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Michael Brody is attacked by the shark and is forced out of the submarine, there is an underbelly shot of the shark proceeding to eat the sub and a large, rectangular hole is visible in the 'shark's' stomach. This is only visible in the theatrical release of the film and the UK television version.
Some boat (actor close-up) scenes where filmed at Falls Lake, at Universal City Studios, California. near the Psycho house on the backlot.
According to this film, the events that occurred in Jaws 3-D never took place.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Michael goes back in the water the day after he was attacked by the shark, the left sleeve of his wetsuit has been repaired with a gray patch. While swimming, the patch disappears, then reappears.
