  • The "Prof Monster" that appears at the end of the film took between 6 and 8 people to operate at one time.
  • Trevor Matthews and Jon Knautz thought of the idea for 'Jack' while making up horror stories at Trevor's cottage in the 1000 Islands near Kingston, Ontario.
  • The movie was shot entirely in Ottawa, Canada so for the jungle scenes that appear at the beginning and end of the movie, palm trees were brought in to make the location look tropical.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Jack is loosening the union on the pump, he is using the wrench on the wrong part.
