When Andrew and his disturbed girlfriend, Lila, travel to a secluded estate for a weekend getaway, they fall into the clutches of a predatory murderer who stalks the dark forest near the house. On Halloween night, the town of Hobb’s Ferry finds itself at the mercy of the Intruder, a bloodthirsty clown, whose depraved tricks push Lila to the brink of madness.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): When the butcher gets his face stuck on the hook and hangs from it you can see a wire next to the hook holding him up.
Despite receiving top billing on the DVD releases of this film, cult hero Bruce Campbell only makes a brief appearance in the film as a policeman at the end.
SPOILER: Originally Sam Raimi's character in the film was suppose to be gutted by a meat hook. It was changed though when Sam's brother Ted Raimi (who plays Joe in the film) thought of the gag where Sam is hung like a piece of meat.
Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Jennifer gets off the phone with Craig and leaves the office, the camera crew and dolly are reflected in the glass.
