Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): The ammunition Ray finds in Chloe's apartment is in a box marked "38 Special Live Rounds" (presumably to distinguish it from the other box marked "Blank Rounds"). No actual ammunition box would bear that marking. The ammunition Ray takes from the box is .357 Magnum, not .38spl, and would not fit in Eirik's .38 pistol. Further, the box is the wrong size for its labeling; it is clearly a box for an automatic caliber such as 9mm or similar (which may be why the ammunition is loose in the box instead of in a proper tray).
  • In one scene, Ray (Colin Farrell) fires a blank into a thug's eye, blinding it. In Tigerland, Farrell's character fires a blank into a man's eye, but doesn't blind him.
  • SPOILER: In one of the deleted scenes, Ray is discussing his date with Ken, and when Ken finds out that it will take place at a restaurant, he warns Ray that such dates always end badly. His prediction is correct, as it turns out in the film.
  • SPOILER: Body count: 5 (The Priest, the boy who was in the church with the priest, Ken, Jimmy and Harry). Ray's fate at the end of the film is unknown but had he died, the body would be raised to 6. (The American tourist's death is by reported speech and thus does not qualify). (Although it it is not definitely shown or stated, it is assumable that Harry kills the night guard at the tower, which could make the count 6.)
