An idyllic small town is rocked when Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a bright and promising young woman, is abducted and tortured by a sadistic serial killer. When she manages to escape, the traumatized girl who regains consciousness in the hospital insists that she is not who they think she is and that the real Aubrey Fleming is still in mortal danger.

Movie Goof (plot holes): Dakota wears mostly red clothing even when she's staying at Aubrey's house. Aubrey most likely did not possess any red clothing, and the Flemmings wouldn't have had the time to buy them for Dakota, so where did the clothes come from?
The original ending was cut after test audiences found it "too predictable".
Holds the record for most Razzie Award "wins" by one film in a single year, with eight awards including Worst Picture of 2007. The record was previously held by Showgirls and Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000, with seven awards apiece.
Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Dakota and Jerrod start having sex, Aubrey's mother can hear Jerrod's heavy groans through the ceiling. But up until they really get into the act, what Susan is hearing doesn't match the shots in the bedroom.
