• A truly international crew is behind 'Hurt': Producers Eduardo Levy and James Martin are from Brazil and Canada, respectively. Director Barbara Stepansky is from Poland, Cinematographer Ralph Kaechele from Germany, Editor Rita DaSilva from Portugal, and Line Producer Nikolette Orlandou from Greece. And the actress Sofia Vassilieva (Sarah) is a first generation American of a Russian origin. Also adding American flavor, are Co-Writer Alison Lea Bingeman and Production Designer Scott Enge.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When the mother finds the uncle's body hanging in the garage, a chair has been kicked down and is relatively close to the body. There is a closeup of the uncle's body and of the mother's face, and in the next wide shot, the chair is much further away from the body.
