  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Andie's bag is on Ben's desk, it alternates between two handles up and one handle up between shots.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): While they're shooting the DeLauer commercial, the print on the magazine title goes from big and blue in the long shots to small and pink in the close-ups.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): At the end of the poker game scene, Andie is waving with one hand, but in the next shot she is waving with her other hand.
  • Much of the scene where Andie crashes Ben's "boy's night" was improvised. Kate Hudson had the idea to toss the platter of veggies at the guys seated at the poker table. Donald Petrie, the director, knew she was going to do this, the actors in the scene were truly surprised.
