Movie Goof (continuity error): During the Gryffindor Quidditch try-outs, Ginny's hair changes positions. Specifically, when Harry is talking to the team with Ginny next to him.
Jamie Campbell Bower hoped to be cast as a young Riddle. He was instead cast as the teenage Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.
Movie Goof (continuity error): During the destruction of the Millennium Bridge: to begin with the bridge is full of people, including a lot of school children, walking across. As the bridge begins to wobble, people start to trip up and fall down. When we see the bridge from above, as it is destroyed seconds later, there aren't any people on it.
Timothy Spall plays Wormtail for the third time (fourth, if one includes a photograph in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), and is credited on the poster for this film, but he does not have a single line of dialogue.
