Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When the girl and the guy are in the car on the hill top over looking the city, she touches his chin when the camera is facing her, but when the camera flips to the guy, her hand is on his chest.
  • Washington Wizards guard Kirk Hinrich was offered a part in the movie, but had to turn it down due to schedule conflicts.
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): In the beginning of the film, Coach Haskins is coaching a girl's basketball game. A standard 5 on 5 game is depicted, however up through the 70s (and in some states 80s and even 90s) High School Girls Basketball was played 9 to a team with the players assigned specific zones that they could not leave at any time. This was also the college rule until 1971.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): During the final game, there are several flipped shots of Coach Haskins cheering, and his wedding ring and watch are visible on his right hand instead of his left.
