Feature film directorial debut for commercials director Peter Webb. It is not only the first but also the final feature film as a director for Webb.
Director Richard Lester, director of such movies starring The Beatles as A Hard Day's Night and Help! reportedly turned-down an offer to direct this movie. However, Lester, about seven years later, did direct Paul McCartney's concert movie, Get Back (1991).
Final feature film performance for Barbara Bach. It is also the penultimate appearance in a filmed production for Bach.
This movie was touted by The Film Yearbook Volume 4 as potentially being a "blockbuster home movie".
