• Movie Goof (continuity error): The can of Red Bull in George's container of medication keeps changing it's position.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): Clarke invited Ira and George to watch the football finals from Australia. Later when Laura and George are talking in the driveway, she mentions that it is currently December. The football finals in Australia are played in September or, rarely, in early October, such as the replay of the Grand Final between, as it happens, the same two teams shown in the film, St Kilda and Collingwood, which was scheduled for Saturday 2 October after the two teams drew 68-all on the previous Saturday, 25 September 2010.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): In the medicine scene while George is informing Ira of his condition the Sugar free Red Bull moves from the medicine carrier to the counter and back again.
• The film's soundtrack features songs from each of The Beatles' solo careers. Adam Sandler performs a cover of John Lennon's song "Real Love" at about the halfway point of the movie during his paid jam session.
