The picture of a hand that is on the outside of Agnes' door is in fact a picture of Rebecka Liljeberg's hand, taken when she was a child.
The poster for the film featured quotes from the dialogue, including four-letter words. This caused some controversy, and for Stockholm's subway, special posters were printed with the "worst" quotes left out.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Although Agnes did not make a very good job of slashing her wrist, the wound should still have been visible in later scenes.
The bathroom where Johan and Elin meet during the party was so small the bath tub had to be taken out in order to make room for camera, sound man and the director.
