• During filming on the beach in Miami, Florida, Kelly Clarkson would simply lie down in the sand and take a nap, rather than walking over to her chair, in the shade.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Alexa is talking to Justin, he is right next to a half-full drink with a lime slice on the rim. When Kelly walks by and sees Justin talking to Alexa, the drink is almost full.
• The film was originally set to debut on video and DVD just three weeks after its theatrical premiere. Due to threats of a boycott by exhibitors, Fox moved the release date of the video and DVD to September.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): Kelly finds out that Alexa has been texting Justin, and walks away without her purse. In the next scene, Kelly starts singing "Anytime," while walking and carrying her purse.
