Most of the pimp-style clothing for the fictitious "Pimps & Ho's" store in the movie was made by Los Angeles designer Marc Vachon whose Melrose Avenue shop specialized in club wear. Right next door to Vachon's former store location is the real "Barbershop Club" which served as inspiration for Ice Cube's next movie, Barbershop.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Money Mike's pants were off when he fainted in the bathroom. When Damon wakes Money Mike up, Mike's pants are on.
This is the only Friday movie that did not have a Scarface reference.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When the whole family is talking to the police after Uncle Elroy was robbed, the same extra walks behind Craig twice in the same direction.
