Cast includes two Country-Western singers (Dwight Yoakam and Tim McGraw) and three people who have won Oscars for playing Country-Western singers (Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line, Robert Duvall in Tender Mercies and Sissy Spacek in Coal Miner's Daughter)
Movie Goof (continuity error): When "Ken" and "Daphne" was having sex in the bathroom, "Daphne" ripped "Ken's" shirt off. You can see the buttons flying. Yet in the next scene when they are coming out of the bathroom, "Ken's" shirt was buttoned up nicely.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Kate and Brad are in the car, in a heated conversation. In the background an obvious turn has been made by the vehicle, yet Brad does not move the steering wheel once as the car does its turn.
Two of the movie's female stars are members of the sorority, Gamma Phi Beta: Kristin Chenoweth and Reese Witherspoon.
