- When Gracie's basketball hits her foot and rolls away, actress Tessa Allen did that in one take. The sky and lighting were changing and they needed to get it in one shot otherwise production would have been delayed later on because the cast and crew were changing locations the next day.
- When Skim has a monologue in the car and Gracie is sleeping actress Tessa Allen was actually asleep. The film makers tried while Tessa was awake but because they wanted to do long shots of Gracie sleeping it was hard for a young Tessa to keep her eyes completely still for the hour it took to film the scene. Instead, they waited until she had a nap and her mum picked her up and brought her into the car to film the scene.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): At his wedding, Mitch puts the envelope in his vest twice.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Mitch has Slim pinned against the wall in the final fight, his hands switch positions between shots.
