Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When they are in the helicopter taking the president to the hospital, they say he has a "gunshot wound to the head", but in the shooting you can see clearly the gunshot was not in the head.
The film was intended to be released in domestic theaters in 2005 by MGM, but was delayed due to the takeover of the company by Sony. The film was finally released direct-to-DVD in 2006 for the domestic market and within several international markets.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Alex gets into his SUV on a one way street, he gets in on the right side of the car and the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. Later he is seen in the same SUV driving on the left side of the car again.
Movie Goof (factual errors): License plate on the presidential limo is "800 002". In the United States of America the presidential limo always has the license plate "USA 1".
