Movie Trivia/Goofs

→ View All
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Bond escapes from Graves' lair by running down the outside of the dome, the stuntman appears to be wearing sunglasses, while Brosnan, in the shots immediately before and after the stunt, is not.
  • Aged 33, Toby Stephens was the youngest main Bond villain to date. Stephens was 16 years younger than Pierce Brosnan who was 49 at the time. This is not the first time a Bond actor was older than the main villain on a age gap. In 1985, Roger Moore at 57 was also 16 years older than his main villain Christopher Walken, who was 42 at the time. In Moore's first outing as Bond in Live and Let Die, the main villain was played by Yaphet Kotto who was 36, being the first Bond villain actor to be younger than the Bond actor. Brosnan has been older than all of his main villains, except for Jonathan Pryce in Tomorrow Never Dies.
  • Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Jinx shoots the doctor in the clinic in Cuba, she fires two shots. She fires one shot, and then she stands up and fires a second shot. For the second shot, it plays the sound effect of a bullet being shot through a silencer, but if you look closely, not only does nothing come out of the gun, but it also appears that she doesn't even pull the trigger.
  • Some of the actresses mentioned during the production as potential Bond girls were Catherine Zeta-Jones, model Kelly Brook and dancer Jean Butler.
