• Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): An experienced shooter like Emma would never allow a first-timer like Meryl to hold and fire a rifle as depicted in this film. By pressing her cheek against the side of the rifle while failing to secure the stock firmly with her shoulder, Meryl would likely have seriously injured herself as a result of the recoil produced by firing. This was demonstrated in the same scene when Paul injured his shoulder despite holding the rifle more correctly.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): The couch where Meryl sleeps has a table behind it that initially has a lamp on it. Throughout the movie, the lamp disappears when it would block parts of a shot, then reappears shortly thereafter.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Meryl leaves Paul early and he keeps on running and she heads back to the farm. While running she wears tight fitting grey leggings, but when she shows up in the barn she wears loose fitting sweatpants.
• The 35mm print was sent to theaters code titled "High Stakes".
