Desperado

Movie (1995)

We pick up the story as a continuation of "El Mariachi," where an itinerant musician, looking for work, gets mistaken for a hitman and thereby entangled in a web of love, corruption, and death. This time, he is out to avenge the murder of his lover and the maiming of his fretting hand, which occurred at the end of the earlier movie.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (revealing mistake): During the bar gunfight, one of the thug's shirt is blown open revealing the tape used to hold the squibs in place.
CAMEO(Los Lobos): During the bar scene during the opening credits, the composers can be seen in the audience.
Steve Buscemi's character's name is "Buscemi" because the part was written with him in mind.
Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): Throughout the film the spur can be hear on El Mariachi's right foot fall. When he appears beside Carolina in the Cafe scene when she opens the guitar case, it is not heard at all.
