De-Lovely is a 2004 American/British musical biographical film directed by Irwin Winkler. The screenplay by Jay Cocks is based on the life and career of Cole Porter, from his first meeting with Linda Lee Thomas in 1918 until moments before his death in 1964.

Real Linda Porter was from 8 to 14 years older (depending on what biography you read) than Cole, but Ashley Judd is 21 years younger than Kevin Kline.
Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Cole Porter and Linda spend the evening together she has her nails painted red, in the morning she has no nail polish on.
The old Cole Porter make-up took 5 hours to complete.
Cole and Linda's Hollywood home was also the Martin residence from Bicentennial Man.
