Thomas Jane has voiced his disappointment over the fact that the studio didn't give the film a theater run, rather releasing it on DVD and not in the 3-D format in which it was intended. Further disappointment comes with the fact that the released cut of the film is far from Jane's preferred version.

Movie Goof (continuity error): When Dick runs the old Dodge off the road the first time, the left front tire runs deep into the sand. In the next shot, the tire isn't sunk at all.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Dick is fighting with Bloodyface, it's obvious he's not hitting anything but dirt with the rock he's holding.
