Movie Goof (continuity error): When Mitch and Dan and the rest of the family are sitting and talking with the reporters, Mitch and Dan's chairs go from touching to not touching to touching again,all throughout the scene.
Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): Earpiece visible in Dane Cook's ear while singing the "Piggy-nose" song which then disappears.
Movie Goof (factual errors): Dan's car, a Mercedes 300 turbo diesel, is shown filling up at an unleaded gas pump.
The movie was filmed in an actual house in Rhode Island, where the cast spent a great deal of time bonding and rehearsing before filming began.
