D3: The Mighty Ducks Goofs/Mistakes
- Movie Goof (continuity error): While showing the Ducks touch the ice in memory of Hans, you can see #21 skate by. 21 is Dean Portman's number, though he doesn't show up until after the 2nd period of the game.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): There are several infractions/misapplications of the rules of hockey.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): When Coach Orion posts the positions and Dwayne asks about the captain, Luis Mendoza's listed as #6, but 6 is Julie Gaffney's number. Mendoza wears #22.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): Julie's helmet as the Ducks are paying homage to Hans.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): Charlie's arms when he's sitting at the bus stop.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): Right after Charlie takes off his shoulder pads after the first practice, you can see him taking them off again when the scene changes to Connie looking at the list.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): In the final seconds of the game, the announcer says that Conway has a breakaway, in the next shot, we see a Warriors player in front of Conway.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): During the game against the Blake Bears you see the first 2 goals scored by the ducks, the score board go form 2-0 to 3-0. Then they score a 3rd goal and the score board goes from 3-0 to 4-0, when only a total of 3 goals were scored.
- Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): At the end of the movie, Dwayne Robertson says, "Hey, look what Bombay did," but his lips don't move.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): In the final game, Dean Portman's helmet straps disappear and reappear repeatedly.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): When Dean Portman returns, he 'checks' the blond-haired varsity kid over the boards, where he breaks the glass en route to crashing into some fans. In an NHL game, when the glass is broken, they would stop the game to repair it. There is no understood delay in the JV-Varsity showdown after the glass breakage.
- Movie Goof (revealing mistake): After the coach yells at the ducks for playing the varsity Charlie and Fulton skate off the ice on the back of Fulton's jersey it says Fulton when it should be reed.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Charlie is jumping over the clothesline in the rollerblading scene, the clothesline disappears as he jumps.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): In the final game, towards the end of the second period, the scoreboard shows it being the third period.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When we see Portman perform his strip tease in the penalty box, the tattoo he had on his right bicep is gone.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): Adam Banks is left handed while playing hockey after being right handed in the first two movies.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): The school's ice rink has banners hanging from all over the ceiling and an American flag hanging almost flush to the wall. The flag is hanging vertically with the stars in the top right hand corner, when in fact the proper position of the stars, whether a flag hangs vertically or horizontally, is in the top left corner.
- Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Julie is in the goal singing about how Fulton scored, you can see that her lips are not moving from behind her mask.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Charlie is Rollerblading down the street hill towards the bridge, a blue Camaro turns onto the road to go onto the hill. At the bottom of the hill, the same Blue Camaro turns onto the street again to pass by once more.
- Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Julie's song says that Fulton has only been able to skate for one year but he joined the team in the first year, which Charlie says was four years ago.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): The scenery changes repeatedly during the rollerblading sequence.
- Movie Goof (continuity error): When Portman gets sent to the penalty box, he performs a striptease, yet when Ken Wu gets sent to the penalty box less than a minute later, Portman is fully dressed, pads and all.
